With an impressive 148 metre shot, junior golfer Jacob White of Hughsdale, Victoria managed a hole-in-one on the 8th hole at Howlong Golf Resort while playing with Golf Captain Robert Forrest on Sunday.
After a sensational hit, Jacob’s ball found the hole and in return the junior golfer found himself with a hole-in-one trophy.
At sixteen years of age, Jacob has only been playing for two years and plays off of 13.
He plays at Howlong Golf Resort several times each school holiday with his cousin Harry Weaver and grandfather Ian Weaver.
Cousins Jacob and Harry enjoy the sport for the fresh air and ability to enjoy a game with friends.
Howlong Golf Resort host a MYGolf Junior Golfing Program with the next session starting at 10am on Sunday, March 26.
