by
March 28, 2018

2018 Boat winner Trudi Emonson with Steve Starling.

A great weekend was had by 175 anglers and 52 junior anglers who attended the second Fishing for the Future competition.

Although conditions were a bit damp Sunday morning, that didn’t stop the fish from biting with a total of 19 over 550mm size Murray Cod caught, 110 undersize, 10 Golden Perch, all released and 15 Carp caught.
The Saturday night function was well supported at the Corowa Golf Club with Steve Starling giving a very informative talk and our raffle attracted great numbers.
Trudi Emonson was the winner of the boat provided by Maverick Marine.  We would like to thank all our sponsors for making this event such a success and look forward to next year’s comp.
