Nominations close on Tuesday, May 15 for the Federation Business Awards 2018, with winners to be announced at the gala awards dinner at Corowa Whiskey and Chocolate Factory on Friday, July 20.
Corowa Business Chamber members are hoping for a good variety of businesses, from hairdressers to accountants to truck companies and a lot in between” to nominate themselves according to chamber president Mary Hetherington.
“We want every business – from a small business with just one or two, or few employees to larger businesses with more employees,” she told The Free Press.
“There’s no reason for any business, regardless of size or number of employees, to feel their business would not be seriously considered for an award.
“In fact, by completing the nomination form, it may assist the business with ideas for the future. “
The chamber president emphasised the awards for the 10 categories apply to any business throughout the whole of the Federation Council area.
Winning applicants will be able to enter the NSW Business Chamber Regional and State Awards.
Mary’s message to nominated businesses is: “This is a great way to put a spotlight on your business. Those businesses can showcase what they do.”
