This Saturday night Wahgunyah Speedway will end its season with the final event of the year, in its 60th season the club continues to celebrate the big milestone and features for the Production Sedans, Goulburn Ovens Sedan Association and the visiting Amca Nationals will provide spectacular racing.
Nominations for the AMCA Nationals include Jeremy Moore, the current Australian champion from South Australia, Paul Sullivan, the Australia number two driver and Rodney Bassett all the way from Tasmania.

The Amca Nationals are powered by 350ci Chevrolet motors and 253 Holdens and the parity is strong making the win a hard fought one for whoever comes out on top.

In Production Sedan racing the Wahgunyah 1000 has attracted Rutherglen racer Jack Milthorpe and two-time Australian champion Steve Laidlaw.

A host of Leeton club members will make the trip down with Danny Harrison and Andrew Cunningham amongst them.

The biggest field of cars is for the Goulburn Ovens Sedan Association with 20 of them nominated. Mark Gordon is looking to secure a points victory in a regional series as well as winning the feature event.

Victorian champion Liam Powell and his brother will make things tough for him and Danny McCarten has the same intention.

Ladies Open Sedans, Junior Sedans, Standard Saloons and Sports Sedans are all on the program.

Enquires should be made to 0407 666 293. Public gates open from 11am, racing starts at 2pm.
