The Resource Manager for northern Victoria has announced an update to the 2017/18 seasonal determinations but the bigger systems have not been changed.
The Murray system remains unchanged at 66 per cent high-reliability water shares (HRWS).
The Goulburn system and Loddon system remain at 36 per cent HRWS.
The Campaspe system remains at 100 per cent HRWS.
The Broken system increases from 1 per cent to 3 per cent HRWS and the Bullarook system increases from zero per cent to 16 per cent HRWS.
Resource Manager Mark Bailey said recent rainfall enabled the small increases to the seasonal determinations to the Broken and Bullarook systems.
"The catchments are starting to respond to rain after the very dry conditions in May and June," Dr Bailey said.
"However, the flows into the major storages are still well below average.
"The flows are close to those that would be expected under our Dry to Very Dry scenario."
Dr Bailey advised entitlement holders to use the seasonal determination outlooks and weather information to plan their water needs in 2017/18.
