Murray River Police District said the men entered the Mobil Service Station on Honour Avenue in Corowa at approximately 1.15am on Saturday morning, both armed with a knife.
The two male offenders demanded the female operator open the cash drawer, with one man stealing a quantity of cigarettes and the other an amount of cash from behind the counter.
The men fled the scene on foot, and an investigation is still ongoing.Â
Police have released descriptions of both men.
The first man is described as about 160 centimetres tall, olive complexion, stocky build, Caucasian appearance, wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue tracksuit pants, white runners, with a white scarf covering his face and carrying a small black backpack.
The other offender is described as about 180cm tall, thin build, Caucasian appearance, wearing a blue baseball cap, black hooded jumper and black tracksuit pants.
