Offering a wide range of professional services — all delivered with friendly customer service — they’re here to keep Echuca-Moama healthy.
And they’ve been giving locals their time and expert advice for more than 15 years.
‘‘The store was established by myself, Clint Flanigan and Mary-Lou McDonald. It was originally next to the bakery but we moved 10 years ago when Moama Marketplace opened,’’ owner Jill Hamit said.
‘‘Above all, we’re very proud of our professional services.’’
Professional pharmacist Sherri Barden is just one of the Moama Village experts.
Specialising in asthma education, her support has literally changed lives in the community.
Sherri is also currently busy with the Chronic Pain Medscheck trial the pharmacy is involved in and can discuss any of your pain concerns and ensure your medicines are working well.
‘‘She will also gain an understanding of your pain journey and work with you to create an action plan for improvement.’’ Jill said.
Co-owner Clint Flanigan is another professional services pharmacist, specialising in diabetes education, sleep apnoea and home medication reviews.
In addition to Clint’s expertise, the pharmacy offers a wide range of sleep apnoea masks which are currently 30 per cent off.
As for Jill, she has lived and worked in the area for more than 30 years and provides a wealth of pharmacy care experience.
Jill and Mark Nulty are both pharmacist immunisers, on hand to protect you from any nasty flu bugs — particularly as flu season approaches.
On top of its services, Moama Village Pharmacy supplies a full range of cosmetics including Clarins, Youngblood and Coral Colours as well as Dior fragrances.
And for those looking for a bit of pampering, the pharmacy also has its very own beautician.
Available Tuesday to Friday, Donna offers everything from massages and facials to pedicures, henna eyebrows and eyelash extensions.
As if this isn’t enough, Moama Village Pharmacy is also an NDSS Diabetes Supply agent and offers free blood pressure monitoring, access to webster packing services, home medication reviews and medschecks.
‘‘As part of NDSS, we are able to supply subsidised diabetes products,’’ Jill said.
‘‘We also supply three local nursing homes with webster packs and provide community webster packs to many Echuca-Moama residents.’’
