The Pastoral Times is making the shop local decision much easier, with our annual shop local campaign.
The Golden Bunny Bonanza’s prize pool is $5,500, with a $3000 Deni Gift Card grand prize to be drawn on December 23. A $500 Deni Gift Card and a $1500 Deni Gift Card will be drawn the same night.
In the five weeks leading up to the grand prize draw we will be giving away a $100 Deni Gift Card each week, starting on November 20.
Shoppers earn one entry ticket for every $20 spent at a participating store, with a maximum of 10 in any one transaction.
Pastoral Times general manager Leesa Muir said as frustrating as COVID-19 border closures have been, it has served to remind us that we can get what we need right here in our own region.
And she said for local businesses to recover from the Coronavirus pandemic, we must continue to spend our dollars locally.
‘‘In the current climate, we all need to work together to ensure we are supporting local businesses through this tough time,’’ she said.
‘‘Our local businesses have a lot to offer, and our promotion is designed to showcase that and support a vibrant economy at the same time.’’
