THE LEADERS - Brooks Koepka (65) at 12-under; Adam Scott (64) and Jordan Spieth (66) second at five-under; Dustin Johnson (67), Daniel Berger (66), Kelly Kraft (65), Matt Wallace (67), Luke List (68) fourth at four-under.

THE AUSSIES - Scott (64) at five-under; Jason Day (74) and Cameron Smith (70) at three-over; and Lucas Herbert (70) at four-over; Marc Leishman (eight-over), Brendan Jones (15-over), Stuart Deane (18-over) and Craig Hocknull (19-over) all missed the four-over cut.

BEST ROUND - 64 - Scott, which included making 165 feet of putts.

TALKING POINT: Koepka's total of 128 smashed 36-hole major championship scoring record by two - a score only five players had previously achieved.
