Hoppers’ swarm in for ‘Back To’

An estimated 1200 past and present footballers and netballers, officials and supporters swarmed into Rennie’s Bull Plain Road clubrooms on Saturday, May 11 for a big ‘Back to Rennie’ celebration of the 1939 and 1969 senior football, 1989 reserves football and 1979 B Grade netball flags. There were many highlights, including the presence of the five Sandral brothers – Jim, Peter, Leon, Kevin and John – who all began their wonderful careers at Rennie.
