A leaking water tank next to the replica shearing shed was replaced. Track markers were erected along the David Taylor and Wallaby walking tracks. These numbers will allow people to take a self-guided walk with accompanying track notes that explain the past history and the ecology within the reserve.
Highlights of the day were a fruit damper cooked by Rob Davis that was washed down with a hot cup of billy tea.
The Redlands Hill Reserve was declared a flora and fauna reserve in 1999. It is situated 11 km north-west of Corowa on one of the highest hills in the region.
It is a beautiful spot to go for a walk and take a picnic. A small replica of the Shearing the rams (Tom Roberts) shearing shed was built in 1988 for the Bicentenary.
The original shearing shed was located on the property adjacent to the reserve.
