Greater Shepparton residents have been advised the third quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey will be conducted from today to Monday, March 18.
Greater Shepparton City Council corporate services director Chris Teitzel said the survey was an important measure for the council to understand whether it was meeting community expectations about the services it provided.
‘‘The survey aims to gather impressions on a number of services, facilities and activities the council provides,’’ Mr Teitzel said.
The Community Satisfaction Survey is conducted by Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing as a representative random probability survey of residents aged 18 and above in the Greater Shepparton municipality.
Mr Teitzel said all responses were confidential and grouped with others.
‘‘It will provide insight into ways council can improve service delivery, and all information gathered will be used to provide ongoing improvements for Greater Shepparton,’’ he said.
‘‘Residents who receive a phone call can be assured this is a legitimate survey conducted on behalf of Greater Shepparton City Council. I would like to encourage residents to have their say on the various topics being presented.’’
Research resource company Thinkfield will conduct the phone surveys.
The third quarter results will be made available to the public after a report is presented to the council.
