The girls got off to a really good start and matched them goal for goal to be in front by two at the main break.
Chloe was hitting her shots and moving well in the circle with plenty of confidence.
Erica and Emily kept the defence tight. Ruby, back from holidays, was working well in midcourt. After half time the Power was a different team and couldn’t get the pattern flowing again.

A good start for once and good pressure kept a handy lead.
Some errors did allow them to capitalise but the team was quick to recover.
The three young girls were asked to step up and they did. Certainly much better in the mid court.

The team went in to the match giving it our all but the home ground advantage played a big part in Maggie’s taking the points.
Becky Bruce was playing an awesome game before getting taken out in the last quarter with an injury. This unsettled the team and the Magpies came home with the win.

So much strength , encouragement and determination shown by this amazing group of girls. Unfortunately the team went down but they should be extremely proud of their effort today.

The girls started the match with great determination and held the intensity for the entire game.
Kara’s hard work has paid off as she played excellent in wing attack.
Tamir had a great game in centre, always being an option working well with Niamh who also had a great game in goals.
Jade’s ability to read the play made it difficult for Murray to score.
It was great to see the girls working as a team, getting stronger each week.
Looking forward to another tough game against Lockhart this weekend.
