Both crews qualified for the final in another confidence building race. Claire and Tamasin finished fourth while Grietje and Liz finished in fifth place.
One of the club’s hardest trainers Julie Underwood was In the C Grade single and in a well-controlled heat led all the way to take the win and a place in the final.

Working hard to the line she took out a confidence-building win. The club had two female quad sculls entered in Claire, Emily Todd, EmilyPrice and Jasmine Budic for her first regatta Cox Addlyn and Susie, Grietje, Tamasin, Liz Sandow Cox Aleisha Price.

The girls were up against a much bigger crew from Hawthorn as the Corowa girls never gave in.
As the Corowa girls made a push with 250m to go the Hawthorn combination felt the pressure missing a few strokes allowing the Corowa crew to make their move and take the lead, recording a great win.
The final race for the day was Julie in the A Grade single over the full 2,000m course – a real challenge but one Julie has been training for.
With a quality field Julie made the leaders work hard as she finished strongly in third place.

The club is off to Penrith for the NSW State Championships as Amy Underwood continues her push for selection in the Victorian Lightweight quad scull at the Nationals.
