Things were going well as Dan Athanitis and Matt Wilson opened and took the score to 30.
Matty went for 11 and Nathan Rhodes also departed soon thereafter.
Kade Wilson and Dan cruised to 74 and a large total was on the cards. Thereafter the middle order disintegrated. All players made starts but none could reach double figures as Corowa were bundled out for 121 in 33 overs.
Eskdale started the chase looking at ease with the job at hand. At 0-26 Joey Hansen got one through the gate to bowl Duncan and this started an avalanche.
Wickets fell regularly, and the Blues were in big trouble at 7/58. Captain Athanitis iced the game with some great bowling as Eskdale were finally rolled for 83.
Dan’s figures of eight overs, six maidens, four for eight runs shows the pressure that was exerted.
Joe Hansen and Kaelan Bradtke both picked up two wickets to complete a famous victory.
The win sees Corowa sitting in second position and primed for an assault on the finals in March.
This Saturday is Pink Stumps Day at Ball Park with the team taking on Howlong.
