The Community Grants program aims to support and empower local clubs and not-for-profit community organisations to deliver activities, programs, projects and events that contribute to the vibrancy of the Federation Council area. Funding is available for start-up programs, operational costs, minor equipment and events that contribute short to medium-term community development outcomes.
Nine grant applications were received in total for Round 1, but two applications were ineligible for funding and therefore denied funding:
“Marooned –A mental health play” is ineligible as it is outside of the funding dates, meaning it would be retrospective funding, and is to be held in Yarrawonga meaning it is outside of the Federation Council boundaries.
The “2020 Marcus Fraser Ambrose” is ineligible as already sponsored through the 2019 /2020 Federation Council’s Event Sponsorship Program.
