Rutherglen Country Fair and Grape Tread

Originally organised by former Member for Murray Valley, Ken Jasper AM, who has been participating since the late 1970s, the Celebrity Grape Tread will take place at 2pm.

Over many years participants from Federal, State, and Local Governments have been organised by Mr Jasper, who retired from participation in 2010, but now conducts the event with a senior representatives from three levels of government.

Attending this year from the Federal Government is Senator the Hon Bridget McKenzie, from State Government is The Hon. Jaclyn Symes, MLC, Attorney-General, and the Mayor of Indigo Shire, Cr Sophie Price, with each representatives being partnered by Rutherglen Apexians.
