For three days, from June 10 to June 12, the region's artisan winemakers, brewers, and distillers, along with musicians, artists, and food vendors, will come together to celebrate and showcase the best of their craft.
Located in the heart of Victoria, the Heathcote region is known for its unique terroir, a combination of ancient Cambrian soils, warm climate, and high altitude, that produces bold, full-bodied wines.
But the region is not limited to wine, as more and more craft breweries, distilleries and olive groves have established themselves, diversifying the local offering and creating a vibrant and dynamic scene.
During Heathcote on Show, visitors have the opportunity to taste and explore the region’s offerings through a variety of experiences.
With more than 25 locations participating, visitors can hop on and off four different shuttle bus routes, interconnecting 15 venues, including cellar doors, pop-up stalls, restaurants and food trucks.
While participating and visiting the various locations is free, the shuttle service is $40.
The event offers something for everyone, from the wine aficionado to the beer lover and the gin enthusiast.
Many participating venues offer exclusive tastings, new releases, and cellar door specials.
Visitors can also enjoy gourmet food, live music, and art installations, creating a “fun, festive atmosphere”, Heathcote tourism and development president Peter Young said.
It’s an opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the unique offerings of our artisans and producers.
Whether you come with family, friends, or alone, you’re guaranteed to have a great time and leave with a new appreciation for the region.
