Shepparton’s newest music festival is set to excite, with the final musical acts announced yesterday.
The first artists on the line-up for Land of Plenty were announced in May this year, boasting a vast range of talented acts across various musical genres, including Shepparton hip-hop artist Briggs, alongside Illy, Tones and I and Slowly Slowly to name a few.
Added to the bill as festival co-headliners is Ocean Alley, a psychedelic-surf-rock group from the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
The six-piece band took out the top spot in Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2018, with its track Confidence.
Yesterday’s announcement saw the inclusion of DJ Alex Hayes and masked mystery dance act MOJI.
Local acts Charlie McCosh and Yorta Yorta artist Drmngnow will also hit the stage in November.
Land of Plenty has been organised by Greater Shepparton City Council, in partnership with Shepparton Show Me and Red Hill Entertainment.
The festival will include musical acts as well as carnival rides, food trucks, market stalls, art displays and bars.
Land of Plenty is on Saturday, November 2, at Shepparton Showgrounds, High St, Shepparton.
General admission tickets cost $99 and VIP packages are available for $149.
