The team worked hard all day, however struggled to get a good flow happening.
In the third quarter the Power settled, played their style and matched their opponent, but they were no match for the accuracy of Lockhart’s shooter who had pinpoint accuracy. It was pleasing to see all girls give their best and never give up.
The defence worked really hard and the midcourt gave their best.

Finally the Power had a full team and it gave them a chance to rotate some girls.
A second quarter lapse allowed the opposition to get back into the game, but overcoming the conditions and adjusting better allowed the team to forge ahead.
Shay was shooting very confidently in goals, however every girl played well and was it hard to single out anybody.

The girls were unenthusiastic about playing in the cold weather but managed to start well and continued the intensity for the whole game.
Niamh had a great game shooting and Elise moved well in the ring.
Tamir dominated in the mid court, setting up goals.
Sommers, Evie and Jade all worked well together in defence rotating positions, intercepting well and getting a lot of the defensive rebounds.
Bree played a strong WD, deflecting well while Tegan played a defensive WA and fed into the ring well. It’s great to see the girls working so well together as a team.
