Roos 78 def Wodonga 26
The girls found their groove again this week. Timing was great and the defensive and attacking teams were back on song, supporting each other and playing the ball with love. The A/B squad will take forward their GEM&C approach into finals.
Awards:
Sullivans Hair & Beauty & Club 2 ‘Perfection Award’ – Grace Senior – She shot beautifully and dominated the ring and set up some amazing plays with Jess.
Club 1 – Sophie Hanrahan – was ever reliable and defensively dominated all over the court.
“D’Amicos” Award – Olivia Sinclair – Such a positive talker and play setter. Always thinking and guiding the play.
Canteen Award – Emily Laracy – Stepped up her game another notch on Saturday and applied so much over the ball pressure.
B Grade
Roos 64 Def Wodonga 13
Such a strong representation by all players on the court on Saturday. Everyone adjusted quickly to many changes and the team trialled some different plays.
Awards:
Sullivans Hair&Beauty & Club 2 “Essential Beauty Award”– Imogen Taylor – Stepped up and continually adjusted to our new players in the ring.
Club 1 – Zali Spencer – Played in all three thirds again. This week her versatility and athleticism is the envy of all coaches.
‘DOCS’ Award – Georgie Bruce – Fantastic leadership on and off the court, she really leads by example.
Canteen award – Kiara McLean – Ever consistent Kiara worked hard to transition quickly into her defence role, creating turnovers and playing pressure down court.
C Grade
Roos 85 def Wodonga 10
C grade played a settled and controlled game over a very young side and were able to deliver a commanding victory.

Roos 49 def by Wodonga 58
The young Roos suffered a tight defeat at the hands of the Wodonga Bulldogs over the weekend.
Awards:
Sullivans Hair & Beauty & Club 1 – Georgia Gorman – Best game of the season. Her drives coming forward created so many goaling opportunities and she responded so well to the direction given. Great work George!
Club 2 – Phoebe Osborne – an absolute workhorse! Kept her angles and contested every ball. You are improving every week. Awesome game Phoebs.
”Sportspower Award” – Ella Morley – A great battle on Saturday between Ella and her opponents. She stayed tall and found her aggression ripping some crucial balls.
Canteen Award – Lily Hanrahan – She changed the dynamics of the game. Stepped into the C role and provided the Roos with so much space and drive. Captain’s game Lil!
