Corowa High School held its inaugural Colour Run last Friday to mark the end of the school term.
Principal, Dr Joanne Bellette, said the colour run was an opportunity for the students to unwind after what’s been a tough year.
“It has been a very challenging year. First, it was the bushfires and now it’s coronavirus. We wanted to reward our students and staff with a celebration of what we have achieved and overcome as a community,” Dr Bellette said.
“We wanted to show the students they can still have fun and be safe.”
Students and staff wore white t-shirts with the slogan ‘In this together’ as they spent the afternoon being showered with colourful powder as they made their way through a fun course.
