16s Brooke Ferwerda receiving pass into goals.

A Grade

Corowa Rutherglen 40 def by North Albury 44.

So close - but the girls need to finish off four quarters of play and stick to the game plan.

Lots of positives from a close loss so let’s focus on them and keep looking ahead.

Awards: Sullivans Hair & Beauty & Doc Yarrum - Brooke Bice - strong game attacking hard at the ball and applying plenty of pressure when transitioning into defence.

Club - Steph Clancy - what a great game, she was given strict instructions and she always follows through, great game old girl.

Club 2 - Emily Laracy - excellent display in defence, she worked tirelessly to apply the pressure and create the turnover.

Ladies Committee - Claire Wilson - adjusted her game after a 1st quarter lull to dictate her role in the attack position, great body strength.

B Grade

Corowa Rutherglen 30 def by North Albury 46.

A great game against the top side. The score line does not reflect the play created by this tight team.

Awards: Sullivans Hair & Beauty & Origin Clothing - Kiara McLean - consistent game running through the centre, offered the fresh legs needed in goals.

Club 1 - Leah Keating - great eye for the intercept, Leah is definitely a spectator’s delight.

Club 2 - Rosie Dye - strong game, adjusting all the time to offer something new in the ring.

Ladies Committee - Jess King - great adjusting in positional change, created space in mid court and fed the goals perfectly.

C Grade

Corowa Rutherglen 29 def by North Albury 42.

Our C grade girls came out with a strong first quarter scoring 6-0 in the first five minutes.

Every single girl stepped up to the North Albury girls and played the best game of the season.

Goal scorers Bee and Keely shot and moved well, defenders Bec, Grace, Ella and Zali worked strong and intercepted many passes.

Carls, Emma and Erin worked well in the centre.

Thanks to Zali and Ella for a fantastic game. Awesome game, well done girls.

Awards: Sullivans Hair & Beauty - Bec Kuschert. Club 1 - Belinda Patterson Club 2 - Keely Mills. Essential Beauty - Carlie Smith  Ladies Committee - Erin Allen.

Under 16

Corowa Rutherglen 25 def by North Albury 60.

Despite being down a few players due to injury the 16s lead with a strong start in challenging conditions.

North chipped away with Corowa-Rutherglen playing consistently and meeting the small goals set by Noel.

A tough game fought with determination by our girls setting them up for the Myrtleford game.

Awards: Sullivans Hair & Beauty - Sophie Schulz. Club 1 - Zali Spencer. Club 2 - Ruby Hayley-O’Neil. Sportspower - Brooke Ferwerda.  Ladies Committee - Hannah Tidd.
