Howlong land purchase

Howlong-based Councillor David Longley welcomed the outcome of negotiations.

“It’s a strategic move – to ensure the existing undersize building can be expanded. Inside includes the smallest library you’d ever see,” he said. “It’s an excellent move.” 

At its December meeting, Federation Council empowered its mayor and general manager to negotiate the purchase.
