Corowa Civic Bowls
The Business House Fours event finished this week.
The event created some excitement as three teams finished on equal points so percentage was needed to decide the winners.
First place went to Bilney Buildings, second Howard Squires Funerals and third to Hotondo Homes.
It is a very successful competition played in good spirit and a good social night for all players.
Well played to all and congratulations to the winners.
Reminder the Newmarket Open Triples Sunday, March 24 at 10.30am.
This is a good social day for the club with lunch to follow after the bowls. Put your names on the list and enjoy the day.
Easter tournament is coming up in April so put your entries in for the pairs or triples events – entries at the office.
Saturday social bowls results saw the men take first place. L. Ford, N. Young and B. McCarthy were the Saturday winners, well played.
Club Triples, Mixed Pairs and 100 up events are continuing so results at a later date.

Corowa Indoor Bowls
Tuesday’s winners on two wins of 16 and 19 were Gwen Mills, Dot Roberts, Kevin Culhane and Jan W Webber, while the runners up also with two wins but of 17 and 18 were Sandra Dudziak, Marj Pratt, Joan Catlin and Dave Chapman.
Friday was a great battle on two mats with four teams all on a win and a loss. The winners however on a win of 19 and a loss of four were Doreen Pleming, Steve Jones and Gus Sander. The runners up on a win of 18 and a loss of three were Anne Smith, Dawn Sander, Ken Pleming and Peter Manning.
