The 54-year-old US actor said striking up romances is not a "big priority in my life" right now, as he is focused on work and being present for his children, Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14, whom Affleck has with his 54-year-old ex-wife, actress Jennifer Garner.
"I work a lot, and I see my kids, and there's not a lot of room. I'm not running around," he told Entertainment Tonight.
Affleck also shut down The View host Ana Navarro's claim she tried to set him and pop megastar Shakira, 49, up, although Navarro has "never met" him.
"I hear shit like that honestly first from people like you. I swear to God, I never heard that in my whole life," he said.
"I often hear rumours, and I think it's because, how many single (men) ... some people gossip. Stuff gets made up. I don't really ever get set up, really ...
"But no, that's not true."
Affleck insists he is in a "good place" since he and Lopez, 57, finalised their divorce in January 2025 after two years of marriage.
"I'm good and I'm happy," The Good Will Hunting star said.
"I know what my priorities are. You can't have two things that are the most important in your life. For me that's the kids. So that's what that is.
"And then I have my work, which I love. And, you know, I'm where I'm at, and I'm great. Who knows what adventures life will bring? I'm open to it, but I'm not trying to chase anything."
