As Victoria’s largest gold mining operation, we recognise the importance of maintaining strong relationships with our neighbours and contributing positively to the communities where we operate.
Community engagement remains a key part of how we do business.
We understand that residents want timely information about our activities and opportunities to ask questions or provide feedback.
Through initiatives such as our Good Neighbour Guide and community information channels, we aim to keep local communities informed.
Alongside our ongoing operations, FGM continues exploration activities within its existing mining licence areas, including in the Lockington and Elmore regions, to better understand the local geology and assess future opportunities.
We also recognise the importance of giving back to the communities that support us through local partnerships, sponsorships and programs that help strengthen community wellbeing and resilience.
Today, more than 800 people work at FGM, with many employees and contractors living locally.
Their contributions, both at work and in the community, help support the region’s continued growth and prosperity.
As we celebrate five years at the Elmore Field Days, we look forward to continuing conversations with community members and sharing information about our operations, environmental initiatives and future plans.
