And Education Week at the school will be no exception, with an open afternoon planned within the grounds during the week.
Aiming to proudly showcase student learning through vibrant classroom displays and engaging, creative classroom activities, the school is warmly welcoming families to get involved.
On Monday, May 18, visitors will have the chance to explore classrooms, connect with passionate staff, and experience first-hand the positive and engaging environment that makes Shepparton East Primary School so special.
Principal Leslie Walsh said Shepparton East Primary School was proud to offer a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is truly known, valued and supported.
“Our strong relationships, calm learning spaces and commitment to student wellbeing set us apart,” he said.
“We are especially proud of our vibrant school culture, where students feel confident, capable and excited to learn.”
With a dynamic approach to STEM learning, a standout feature of the school, students engage in hands-on experiences that help develop critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Mr Walsh said this reflected their commitment to preparing students for the future while fostering curiosity and a love of learning.
However, at Shepparton East Primary School, community is everything.
“We prioritise strong partnerships with families, open communication and meaningful opportunities for connection,” Mr Walsh said.
“Whether it’s through school events, celebrations, or everyday interactions, we create a welcoming environment where everyone feels a genuine sense of belonging.”
Offering a wide range of opportunities for students to explore their passions, including sports, leadership programs, camps and extracurricular activities, the school hopes these experiences help students build confidence, discover new interests and develop important life skills beyond the classroom.
“Every day at Shepparton East Primary School is filled with positive energy, purposeful learning and strong connections,” Mr Walsh said.
“Our students are engaged, supported and encouraged to be their best selves.
“It’s a place where learning is meaningful, relationships matter, and every child is set up to thrive.”
