Set in the small township of Merrigum with spacious grounds for the students to run and play, Merrigum Primary School offers an active and stimulating space for all students.

We have a vibrant educational partnership between parents, staff and the wider school community.

Our students enjoy helping out organisations and groups in the community by doing a letter drop around town when they have things/events coming up.

Students have structured sessions in music, drama, Auslan and gardening, and we participate in the sporting schools program, trying sports such as tennis, basketball, netball and table tennis.

There are enough laptops and iPads for every student.

During education week the school will be doing some activities based on our theme this term of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and seeing how STEM is used within these.

We will also be having a focus on literacy and numeracy as the staff are always committed to making sure that all students achieve their best.

With low student-to-teacher ratios, caring and professional staff, Merrigum Primary School strives to provide every child with a range of activities to make the school a happy and safe place to learn.

The school will be having an open day on Wednesday, May 15.
