Bourchier St Primary School’s Foundation students enjoyed a bush walk on August 4 to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.

Foundation teacher Jane Shattock said the students made cubby houses and looked for creatures and animal tracks.

“We all had a wonderful time and are so lucky we live so close to the beautiful Australian bush,” she said.

News photographer Megan Fisher went along to see what they got up to.
