From cyber security to construction, Free TAFE courses are linked to industries where skills are in high demand.
No matter which course you choose, you can feel confident that you’ll graduate job-ready and in demand.
Does Free TAFE mean the course is completely free?
TAFE course costs are made up of three parts:
- course (tuition) fees
- student fees
- course materials.
Free TAFE means you don’t pay the tuition fees.
Each TAFE or course may have additional student fees for student services and/or course materials fees. You should ask your preferred TAFE for information about additional fees.
To help with costs that are not covered by Free TAFE, many TAFEs offer student loans, payment plans or scholarships. You’ll find more information on each TAFE website.
What are priority pathways?
Priority pathways allow you to complete more than one Free TAFE course within the same priority area.
For example, you can progress from a certificate to a diploma and Free TAFE will cover your tuition fees for both courses.
