The exhibition opened on Saturday, February 8 with members of the Corowa Arts Co-operative, who run Gallery 294 hosting the opening.
At the opening the importance of the group of “Friends” who support the gallery in many ways were acknowledged as an integral part of the gallery’s ongoing success.
A hallmark of this annual exhibition over the years has been the diversity of work presented, and this year is no exception.
Highlights this year include landscapes, horse studies, collages, mixed media works, flower studies, abstracts and bird studies.
In total, 26 works are featured in this year’s exhibition.
The exhibition continues until the end of February and Gallery 294 is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Now in its thirteenth year, the gallery continues to develop and delight both local and out of town visitors with its artwork and hand-crafted giftware.
The gallery is also keen to welcome new friends and new members.
Enquiries can be made by calling in to the gallery and talking to the artist on duty.
