Over the course of the Festival, which ended on Sunday, Edward River Council and partners provided various activities.
There were cooking classes, creative workshops, a movie screening and the ‘Seniors on the Ground’ experience at the Deni Ute Muster site.
The March 6 screening of the movie Palm Beach was held at Deniliquin Town Hall, which provided a welcoming and relaxing setting.
Popcorn and other assorted snacks available to enjoy during the movie.
The program has also seen other events offered such as a Smart Cooking workshop, a Canva card‑making workshop and a Ute Muster Site Experience today.
As the final scheduled activity of Seniors Fest, there was great interest in the Ute Muster experience on Friday, March 13.
Attendees enjoyed a guided tour of the Muster Museum followed by a live musical performance from Deniliquin musician Mark Richards.
The seniors were then invited into the Muster’s corporate marquee, where the Rotary Club of Deniliquin provided lunch.
The Edward River Serniors Festival was delivered in partnership with Deniliquin U3A, Intereach and the NSW Government.
