With competitions from showjumping to sewing, goats to ginger cake, and waterfowl to wool, there’s an opportunity for everyone to show off their skills at the Benalla Spring Show.
To help celebrate the return of the Dinkum Dinosaurs and their Dino-Larious show and fossil museum (and more), keep an eye out in the show schedule, specifically the junior sections of art, crafts and horticulture, for dinosaur-themed classes.
All exhibit entries in the junior and restricted sections of the show are free.
There will also be free entry for children under 18 once again this year.
The competition schedules are available from many businesses around Benalla, or the show office in the showgrounds.
Livestock and pavilion entries are now open, with online entry registration available via showday.online/show/benalla
Most sections have their entry registrations closing on Friday, October 9 – with horticulture closing on Wednesday, October 14.
Please consult a schedule for more information regarding times to deliver exhibits.
Horses enter on the day of competition (showjumping can pre-enter online using Global).
The show office is open Monday to Friday, 1.30pm to 4pm, to assist with entries and membership tickets.
This year’s show takes place on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17.
