Big crowds for Deni store sale

Agents and auctioneers, buyers and sellers moved from pen to pen as each lot sold.

Large crowds gathered on Friday morning for the annual summer Deniliquin Store Sheep Sale.

Hats were lowered for a minute of silence to acknowledge the passing of former Elders branch manager Clyde McKenzie before the sheep sale launched into action.

Agents and auctioneers, buyers and sellers moved from pen to pen as frantic bids were called and settled with a handshake.
