This dedicated group, led by president Robyn Williams, has proudly handed over an incredible $22,000 to the Corowa Hospital.
The funds, raised over the past financial year, are the result of tireless community fundraising, most notably through weekly bingo sessions held at Club Corowa on Thursdays and Fridays.
These events have become a much-anticipated social highlight for locals, combining fun and a shared commitment to supporting local healthcare.
Each financial year, the Friends of Corowa Hospital & Nursing Home Inc present their donation, ensuring that essential equipment and services can continue to be improved for the benefit of patients and staff.
President Robyn Williams, who was on hand to present the cheque, praised the ongoing support from the community and Club Corowa.
The donation will directly support the hospital's ongoing needs and future improvements, reinforcing the community’s strong connection to its local healthcare facilities.
