The Corowa and District Car Club, with the support of Federation Council, is inviting motoring enthusiasts and the wider community to enjoy a fun filled day at the Corowa Car and Bike Show ‘n’ Shine on Sunday, September 13.
The annual event, held at RSL Park in Corowa, kicks off at 8am with exhibits, awards and entertainment throughout the day until 1pm, with all proceeds going towards the fight against MND.
Event organiser, Brad Moore said there were 45 trophies up for grabs this year, as well as the People’s Choice trophy giving spectators the opportunity to choose their favourite vehicle on display.
“We’ve been running this event since 2018,” Brad said.
“People come with their cars from as far as Wagga, Melbourne, and even Geelong to be here, so it has quite a bit of reach.
“We’re hoping the weather comes out, because it’s going to be a great day.”
Aside from the cars on display, all of the emergency services crews will be on hand with their displays.
There will be face painting, the local community band Sing Australia, and the skate park kids will be selling drinks to raise money as they have in the past.
Local kids Ida and Indianna enjoyed last year’s Show ‘n’ Shine, getting on board one of their favourite vans with some face painting.
