Cor/Ruth 51 defeated Yarrawonga 35
These girls make me proud every week, but this game took the cake. 100% team effort sent them to perform at the highest level showcasing just how phenomenal they can be. A well deserving score line result for the effort, discipline, and commitment this special bunch of women have put in.
Awards: Sullivans Hair&Beauty Award & Essential Beauty Award – Grace Senior – From the 1st centre Grace was a standout. Her presence on the court filtered through the team and she shot from everywhere. Club 1 – Jess Bice – Best game I have seen this girl play. She was so creative, fed the ball with pinpoint accuracy and challenged their outlet. Club 2 – Brooke Bice – a consistent game as per usual, Brooke does her job without fuss and makes light work of the centre role. Ladies Committee – Ella Kingston – Improving every week in the mid court Ella played this game with 100% determination shutting down their attack drive.

Outstanding result for these girls. The game was tough from the first whistle but persistence and working quarter by quarter resulted in a win.
Awards: Sullivans Hair&Beauty Award & D’Amicos Restaurant – Lisa Tobin – Improving her game every week Lisa is a tall dominant shooter who is proving difficult for defenders to conquer. Club 1 – Zali Spencer – This girl is having a blinder season producing stella performances game after game. Origin Clothing - Club 2 – Imogen Taylor – Played like it was the GF reload, Jimmy lead the attack end with class and it was so nice to see her back in form. Ladies Committee – Lucy McInnes – Such a great pick up Lucy was a leader and worked tirelessly to shut down the drive of Yarra into their attack.

After the disappointment of losing Georgia Clark and Kate German to broken bones last week, the girls unfortunately went down to Yarra. To the girls credit they gave their all but unfortunately could not get over the line.
Awards: Sullivans Hair&Beauty & Club 1 – Lily Hanrahan. Club 2 – Georgie O’Brien. Sportspower Award – Rowena Black. Ladies Committee – Bec Kuschert.

Tough loss for the girls but still so many positives to come out of the game. Our shooters had so much trust in each other to release the pass to the post. Our midcourters worked through great pressure with a few skill errors letting us down. We worked hard defensively all day against a tall order. A tough day at the office but our heads stay high. Onto next week.
Awards: Sullivans Hair&Beauty – Grace Kennedy, Club 1 – Steph Sutcliffe – Outstanding game. So strong on her holds and always reliable. Keeps growing each week. Club 2 Sportspower Award – Chelsea Parker – A great patient game. Worked herself onto the ring and delivered the ball into perfect space. Graze Award – Sophie Kennedy – Great smart game. So strong on the second phase and gave great shooter to shooter passes. Ladies Committee – Riley Shanahan – Reliable game. Gave us such great drive through the midcourt and steadied the ship into the ring.
