A highlight of the celebration was the revival of classic games that had once filled the schoolyard with laughter and excitement. Ring toss, hopscotch, and egg & spoon races brought together young and old alike in a spirit of friendly competition, showcasing that the school’s traditions are still cherished by generations.
One of the most anticipated moments of the celebration was the unearthing of a time capsule that had been buried 25 years prior.
It required a concerted effort to extract it, but persistence ultimately prevailed. The contents of the capsule, including a mysterious videotape, left students and attendees intrigued.
“They had no idea what the videotape was used for, which made many of us feel very old!” Principal Janet Conibear said.
In a touching speech, Ms Conibear expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive community members who had all played a pivotal role in making the celebration a resounding success.
