With this year’s theme ‘Something for Everyone’, CWA celebrated the diverse talents and passions volunteers bring to the community.
Week after week the volunteers donate their time and skills to the various community groups and activities in our local area.
They are the backbone of the community and Volunteer Week is a chance to recognise the great work being done and to show appreciation.
As recent winners of the Federation Council Micro Grant, the Corowa CWA was able to host a delicious afternoon tea for local community groups, with guest speaker being Councillor Rowena Black of Federation Council.
There were also speakers from Landcare, Lions Club and Corowa Community Garden. The afternoon was a great success.
