Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content Greater Shepparton City Council has announced upcoming construction works on Stewarton Rd, near Dookie, as part of its major culvert renewal program. Works on the crossing of the road and a natural watercourse will be undertaken to replace the culvert structure and install new guard railing. The construction is expected to start on Monday, May 13 and take 10 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Stewarton Rd will be closed to traffic at the site between Nalinga North Rd and Dookie-Nalinga Rd, where drivers will be rerouted. The signed detour route will be via Thomas Rd, Duggans Rd, Stewarton Rd, Nalinga North Rd, Midland Hwy and Dookie-Nalinga Rd. Residents will still have access throughout the construction period. Detour: Traffic will be rerouted during the culvert contruction works.
