The Adelaide event tested competitors across multiple days.
“We were there for just over a week,” Eliza said.
“I competed in the juniors, which had four classes across four days. The final day was the Grand Prix, which I won.
“I also got overall for the best consecutive results across the classes.
“I’ve won a bit before, but this was my first time showjumping at a royal.”
Balancing school and sport is made easier through online learning.
“I do online school, so it’s easy to manage,” she said.
Next, Eliza will turn her attention to the national stage.
“The next big competition is the Australian Championships at the start of November,” she said.
