Sheri Loulou's art encompasses writing poetry over photography and graphic design.
In the midst of chaos and drama, Sheri dreams of lands miraculous, seeks sages wisdom, and occasionally dissects the darkness.
Her words bring you to fantasy and doomsville and she hopes you love all of it.
Sheri writes with acrylic gold markers over graphic design prints, doing the whole process herself.
Her visual style explores nostalgia dreamcore, surrealism, and liminal space and her poetry ranges from fantasy dreamcore to ever eerie gothic themes.
“It's so lovely to have the opportunity to see people enjoying my art, Sheri said.
“I've been behind a screen for so long seeing 'likes', but now I get to see people's reactions and I love that."
Her writing has been complimented by Grammy winning co-writer DJ White Shadow, and Logie winning screenwriter Ian Pringle, who says she has a natural ability as a storyteller.
Her visual arts are complimented by Comic Con Disney and Marvel artist JP Perez who described her work as “definitely on point”.
Sheri's art will be available all year round at Gallery 294, open Friday to Monday 10am-4pm.
