Last week the children of Jerilderie and surrounding areas had the chance to spend three amazing days with DIGJC (Disciples Impacting This Generation For Jesus Christ) youth from Sydney.
The 10 leaders and 17 high school students came from Wesley Mission in Sydney to share their faith and demonstrate God’s love.
They gave the children an opportunity to have fun and learn in a positive atmosphere filled with love.
The children participated in lots of activities including cooking, canoeing, water activities, sports, band, craft, story telling and singing.
The best part was the children experienced love in action.
The leaders selflessly gave of themselves to ensure that every child could experience a touch from heaven.
Children need strong male and female role models to teach and train them in the way they should go.
DIGJC modelled both godly behaviour and selfless service.
Children are a gift from God.
Each child has their own unique personality and gifts.
Godly discipline, loads of love, affirmation and healthy boundaries put in place don’t hurt the child but instead allows them to flourish and become their best selves.
