Federation Festival brings together many organisations and volunteers who have helped make the weekend a success since 1980.
The Tim Fischer Oration kicks the festivities off on Friday with the family fun spread over four days.
On Saturday afternoon the Great Federation Duck Race returns to Rowers Park, with live entertainment from 1pm and the ducks being released into the Murray River from John Foord Bridge at 4pm to determine this year’s winner.
The event continues at John Foord Oval from 6:00pm, with Jade Gibson’s tribute to Taylor Swift into the evening, followed by fireworks at 9:30pm.
Sunday brings the Monster Federation Market to Bangerang Park from 8:30am to 2:00pm, with a much larger than normal market planned, including lots of food, drinks, plants, books and more to cater for the whole family.
The Grand Parade then features at 10:00am, with a fleet of bands, floats, cars, trucks, tractors, machinery and more making its way down Sanger St.
The parade theme for this year is Family Fun, with $1,500 in float prizes to be won.
Celebrations finish on Monday with Federation Council’s Australia Day ceremony at Memorial Hall from 10:00am to 1:30pm, which includes Australia Day award presentations, free BBQ lunch and deserts, and live music from the Ironbark Creek Band.
Rotary Youth Exchange students lead the 2025 Grand Parade.
Established in 1939, the Rotary Club has been proudly serving the Corowa community for more than eight decades.
The club is made up of about 40 men and women from all stages of life who share a passion for friendship, service, and making a positive difference locally and beyond.
They come together every Wednesday evening for a dinner meeting where stories and laughter are shared, support is given, and to plan activities that benefit not only the local community, but other communities also in need.
Rotary is a global organisation, and the local club plays an active role in supporting its international mission of service above self.
Rotary invites everyone, especially families, to visit Corowa and enjoy the wide range of events on offer throughout the Federation Festival Weekend.
