The meeting will take place at the Howlong Golf Resort on Tuesday, July 22 from 6:00-7:00pm.
The session offers insights into progress, works, and future plans to enhance water pressure and flow throughout the town.
Council staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide an overview of how the strategic actions will improve water services for existing homes and support future growth.
Federation mayor Cheryl Cook highlighted the significance of the project, and the upcoming meeting.
“We understand that consistent and reliable water pressure is a top priority for our Howlong community,” Cr Cook said.
“This project is a major undertaking, and we are committed to keeping residents fully informed every step of the way.
“We’ve seen key advancements, such as the new 375mm trunk main along Townsend Street now being fully operational, and a new rising main from the treatment plant to the Read Street Water Tower, which is expected to be in use from July.”
Cr Cook said the meeting was an opportunity for residents to hear directly about the detailed hydraulic modelling, underway by NSW Public Works, which will identify areas that need improvement.
“Council will also discuss the potential future works, including estimated costs and timelines for major upgrades like upsizing the town’s central ring main and constructing a new, larger water storage tank,” she said.
“Your feedback and understanding are vital as we work towards a stronger water service for Howlong."
Residents are urged to attend this session to learn more about how their water infrastructure is being enhanced.
