There was plenty of choice among the 750 equipment and machinery sites at Farm World 2024, held at Lardner Park, near Warragul, Victoria.

People climbed aboard tractors, looked under bonnets, craned their necks to see up to the cabins of some machines, assessed the volume capacity of different sprayers, and generally caught up with friends and neighbours.

Farm World field days, on March 22 to 24, attracted a lot of farmers serious about viewing the latest machinery and equipment available for their business.

Case IH tractors of all sizes were on show.

CLAAS equipment attracted a lot of interest.

Tania Moscript and Ross Newton, of Leongatha South, looked at a Taege direct seeder at the Gendore site.

Visiting from the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne were Kristian Person, Tiffany Hall and Peter Macdonald, at the JCB site.

Trevor and Will Hatfield, of Yarragon South, with a Fendt Cargo 5X 90, on the Fendt site.

Evan and Sheriden Williams, of Yannathan, at the Fendt site.

At the Barenbrug site, Sebastian Leith of Barenbrug Seeds with Isobel and Virginia Hunt, of Bena.

Anthony Watts of Inverleigh, Stephanie Michel of Silvan Australia, and Andrew Gibson of Ranceby, at the Silvan site.

Allyson and Martin Mattern of Ferny Creek, with a Kubota KX018-4 digger.

David Antonie, of Vin Rowe Machinery, with Tyler Carson and Cat Kerr, of Oxbow Pastoral, Poowong, with a Great Plains disc drill.

Tractors of all sizes were on show and attracted interest from attendees at Farm World.

Blake Currie of Bona Vista, with a New Holland tractor and hay rake, on the New Holland site.

Adrian Ward, Kristi Large and Sharyon Longhurst of Moorooduc with a Flail Mower, on the New Holland site.

At the Ag Farm Machinery site, there was a lot of interest in tractors, harvesters and mower attachments.

At the New Holland site, attendees at Farm World could compare the volume and performance capacity of spray and pump units.

At the Ag Farm Machinery site were Matt Hawkes of Ag Farm Machinery, with happy and existing customer David Briggs, looking at the new mower conditioner manufactured by McHale and a Deutz tractor.

Robert Coster of Cloverlea already uses the six tonne version of the Sam fertiliser spreader, shown on the Ag Farm Machinery site.

Mowers and mulchers attracted a lot of interest at various sites during Farm World.

The Best Overall Exhibit at Farm World 2024, was presented to Brandt Tractors. Demonstrating the talent that supported them winning the award, Brandt Tractors’ Adam Chalmers was keeping the maize watered, in front of the John Deere self-propelled forage harvester.

Owen Dunlop, of Armour Group, was showing the Vigolo mulcher to Jake Mathews of Yarragon and India Dunscombe of Mirboo North.

At the TTMI site, Case IH tractors were attracting attention.
