The Flight Scale Glider Rally has visited Jerilderie over the Easter long weekend for the past 21 years, with the June long weekend gathering stretching back even further, boasting an incredible history of around 43 years.
Enthusiasts travel from far and wide, including from Canberra, Melbourne and South Australia, bringing with them their impressive scale model gliders and a shared passion for silent flight.
Over the decades, the Jerilderie event has built a strong reputation and is now recognised as one of the longest-running and largest silent flight glider tournaments in Australia.
Make sure to look up when out and about this weekend to see some gliders filling the skies at the racecourse.
