Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson are visiting Corowa (Wednesday, November 22) as part of her regional NSW visit to Tocumwal, Finley, and Deniliquin this week.
“Dennis and I are excited to be visiting this beautiful part of the Riverina to meet locals, hear about local developments and achievements, and experience the history, culture, and sense of community that makes this area so special,” Her Excellency said.
In Corowa, the Governor and Mr Wilson will meet members of the Federation Council, along with staff and clients of the Amaranth Foundation and the Corowa Food Bowl.
They will also visit Lowesdale Public School to meet staff, students, and members of the P&C Association and gain insights into local agribusiness, heritage tourism, and conservation remediation through tours of Hicks family farm, Rivalea Australia, and Savernake Station.
The day will be capped off with a Corowa Business Chamber Dinner.
