These grants, provided through the ClubGRANTS program, are part of the club's commitment to supporting local initiatives that benefit the community.
The Corowa SHE Shed received a grant of $1,918. The funds will be utilised to acquire the necessary technology for the amalgamation of SHE Shed records.
Previously, the organisation relied on a fragmented system of folders and boxes, making it difficult to access past information or decisions. By implementing a technological solution, the Corowa SHE Shed aims to streamline its operations, simplify the transition of the Secretary position, and ensure effective record-keeping and documentation retrieval.

The Corowa Community Men's Shed received a grant of $10,000 with the funds to go towards the completion of their new shed project, including insulation for temperature control and noise reduction, as well as the installation of solar panels to reduce power bills.
The upgraded facility on Honour Ave will enable the Men's Shed to welcome more members and undertake additional projects that assist community members in need.
Additionally, the Men's Shed provides a supportive environment for men dealing with mental health issues, fostering open discussions and camaraderie. The new facility will also facilitate the passing on of knowledge from experienced members to others, including school children.
“I want to extend our gratitude to the Corowa RSL Club for their generous grant,” Corowa Men’s Shed secretary Graham Withers said.
“This funding will greatly assist us in completing our new shed and creating a welcoming space for our members.”

The Corowa Spring Show received a grant of $2,000 to provide free entertainment for children attending the event. “As the Corowa P A & H Society prepares for its 143rd annual show on Sunday, October 8, offering free entertainment will alleviate the financial burden on families,” Secretary Jan McKenna said.
“Show attendees can enjoy various activities, including a snake show, a pirate magician leading children on a treasure hunt, face painting, and dancing.”
